The Analyst is responsible for the system design, selection, acquisition,
installation, maintenance and use of the Company's LAN/NT/AIX systems.  The
analyst will establish/recommend policies on LAN/NT/AIX system use and
services and address AIX based operating system issues such as; paging and
swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do,
file system concepts ("inode, "superblock"), NFS, NIS, DNS and basic routing
concepts. In addition, the Analyst will write scripts in various
administrative languages.

Additional responsibilities include:
· Acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of the
Company's local NOVELL/NT LAN server networks.
· Managing NOVELL/NT LAN performance and maintaining NOVELL/NT
LAN security.
· Installing network software and troubleshooting NOVELL/NT
LAN problems.
· Establishing and implementing NOVELL/NT LAN policies,
procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information
systems and Company's objectives.
· Participating in the design, creation, and maintenance of
all Internet/World Wide Web products and activities.  May also oversee the
direction and maintenance of Internet security.
· Administering and coordinating of corporate email systems
and/or other messaging (e.g. Lotus Notes).  Planning, developing,
documenting, and implementing enhancements to email network.
· Monitoring systems performance and resolves problems.
Providing support and consultation to remote locations or clients in order
to identify requirements and configuration resources.
· Overseeing maintenance of directories and system updates.

Qualified candidates will possess:
· AIX SP System Administration experience in a 24x7 production
environment; high availability environment and capacity planning preferred.
· Proven experience Shell programming/scripting.
· Experience with Sun Solaris and Unix.
· Experience supporting relational databases (Oracle, Sybase,
or DB2).
· Demonstrated experience working independently. Experience
must include identifying and resolving problems where independent
decision-making and initiative were demonstrated.
· Proven work experience directing others to initiate a
recommended course of action to solve a problem or increase efficiency.
· Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication
skills with the ability to successfully interpret and communicate business
needs between internal systems group and external vendors in a clear,
focused and concise manner.
· Proven experience and proficiency assessing, analyzing,
writing, and communicating business requirements/specifications for
projects.
· Demonstrated experience setting professional goals and
taking the initiative to continually enhance skills.
· Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and
enforcing system administration and operational management procedures and
standards.
Experience with HACMP and SAN administration, EMC, Win NT/2000,
Novell Netware, Active Directory Service a plus.

external audit processes.
--Provide support for JD Edwards related security tools used for management,
reporting and support of the JD Edwards security environment.
--Provide backup role for the Security Administrator for routine security
requests. Also provide Backup Client Support

Requirements:
Experience
--One(1) to Three(3) years of security administration.
--Must maintain mature attitude at all times and use mature judgment when
fulfilling / reviewing security access.
--Must communicate with all levels of personnel within the company.
--Should have an understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and J.D.
Edwards security and be willing to attend classes necessary for additional
education.

Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration preferred or
equivalent technical training and experience.
