Category Brand Manager: $3.8 billion manufacturer searching for unique
Category Manager. Position requires analytical/research as well as marketing
experience. Analytically, you will look at syndicated data and draw
conclusion; review and analyze market trends, the cost of making a product,
how to price the product, and determine how value plays into that cost
relative to customer needs; Marketing skills will require creating demos,
customer presentations, help set strategic plans and tactics associated with
reaching that plan. Other specific duties include: conducting market and
consumer data analysis to determine where and how to compete, analyzing
trends, replacement opportunities, ingredient shifts and competitive
activity for identification of new product niches developing and delivering
promotional materials to generate customer demand as well as drive sales of
existing products and technologies, setting priorities for Sales,
Applications and R&D based on customer and market needs, and supporting
sales requests for market knowledge and customer presentations. This
position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field with
10-12 years experience in the food industry with 3-5 years
marketing/category experience (at lest one year experience in CPG
environment).  Salary +/- $100k with 15% bonus and outstanding benefits
