Requirements and responsibilities
· BSEE with MSEE preferred
· 10+ years experience in product development and engineering computers
or computer/networking-based products.
· 5+ years as a hardware designer, mechanical design experience
strongly desired.
· Experience must include managing budgets, developing staffing plans
and hiring employees. Motivating personnel management skill combined with
excellent communications skills both written and verbal are desired.
· Overall responsibility for electrical and mechanical design,
including product enhancements
and joint development efforts with OEM partners.
· Provide technical leadership for Hardware Engineering and assist
Marketing and Sales
with strategy and development plans.
· Establish Hardware Engineering development process and establish
best practices methodology
· Manage staff of individual contributors and managers. Conduct annual
performance and salary reviews and have hire/fire authority.
