Associate
Scientist (BS/MS)  to contribute to an active and challenging cancer
research
environment.

The associate scientist will be expected to perform the following tasks with
minimal supervision. The candidate will be responsible for the design,
implementation, troubleshooting, and analysis of various immuno- and
cell-based assays. In addition, the individual will assist in the design and
completion of in vivo tumor models.

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills, as well as the ability to function as a team member.
Also, the candidate should be organized and able to prepare technical
reports,
summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses

Education: BS and/or MS in biology or related field of study

Experience: Minimum of 3 (MS) or 6(BS) years of relevant laboratory
experience


Special Skills/Abilities: Excellent sterile technique and experience with
mammalian cell culture are required. Candidate should possess a strong skill
set encompassing most/all of the following: in vitro cell-based assays
(cytotoxicity, proliferation, adhesion, migration, etc.), Western blot
analysis, immunoprecipitation, protein expression (in both bacteria and
tissue
culture), immunofluorescent microscopy, immunohistochemistry, FACS, ELISA
analysis, and tumor modeling in animals. Experience in molecular biology is
