Chicago etc. Business systems implementation and large scale project
management experience required.
Summary:
This senior level Business Systems Analyst position is responsible for
reviewing, evaluating and documenting a client's current systems and
business processes, establishing business requirements and identifying
the new business processes and systems that meet these requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
Formulates a Mobius product solution to parallel overall business
strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program/process
functions, and identifies steps required to develop or modify
programs/process.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices,
and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Assisted by the Mobius sales account team, translates the critical
information into a Business Case document that supports and justifies
the acquisition of a Mobius product solution and professional services.
Integral sales team member that assists to manage client expectations
with regard to scope definition, deliverables and cost justification.
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the
top-level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and
latitude is expected.
Provides business case feedback to Product /Vertical Market Managers as
required.
Requirements
Systems Experience:
PC and various software languages. Expert on software products. Document
management, web publishing, imaging and workflow applications, open
systems environments and Web application development.
Experience:
Extensive Business System Analyst, Business System implementation and
large scale project management experience is a must. Thorough knowledge
of application development life cycle including requirements gathering,
analysis, application design, and testing methodology required.
MBA or an advanced degree from a major business school in area of
specialty and at least 5+ years of experience in sales, sales support,
product support or product planning in the software industry.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Creates and makes presentations to customer senior management - CIO, CFO
and CEO levels. Must be comfortable creating a vision and selling it to
the CEO or the Senior Software Engineer Executive.
Sales and marketing background required - familiar with the software
development life cycle for enterprise software systems, good blend of
marketing and technical expertise and must be familiar with software
pricing, marketing campaigns, promotions and alliance building.
Knowledge of Marketing principles and practices; strong analytical and
statistical skills including knowledge of survey and market research
procedures. Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written)
skills. Professional appearance and presentation required.
A strong understanding and knowledge of all Mobius products and design.
Working Conditions: 50-75% travel (domestic). Normal office environment.
Frequently working within tight deadlines. Some stress may occur at
times. No special physical demands required.

Exceptional project management and white-board discussion skills.
Capable of bringing projects in on time with a high level of customer
satisfaction. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and presentation
skills required. Professional, dependable, reliable team player and a
self-starter.
Hours: Standard Hours Monday - Friday. Additional hours as needed.
