The candidate of choice will be responsible for application development,
project management and personnel management of all of the Global Operational
IT Systems support group and development team and will manage a staff of 40.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating enhancements to
existing computer systems and the design and installation of new systems,
systemizing and integrating applications and dataflow, and creating a
value-add service environment to support business processes.

The Director, Global Applications Development, will frequently interact with
staff, customers, senior managers and outside vendors to achieve lofty
business goals. Will frequently interact internally and externally on
negotiations of extremely difficult matters to influence policy-making,
business transactions, and technical solutions to business issues.

This Global Applications Development team needs recharging, so the Director
must have a commanding presence with the ability to influence, persuade, and
provide guidance to management, staff, and customers to inspire and improve
teamwork, and achieve a higher level of excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years increasingly responsible experience managing corporate IT
systems on a global scale.
* Previous experience managing custom developed IBM Legacy applications,
client server and web based solutions (Argus Adabas/Natural, Cobol, DB2 and
MicroSoft Web).
* Previous experience with Oracle applications.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced degree is
preferred.
* Combination skilled people manager and technical expert.
* Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, communication,
leadership, and strategic skills.
* Positive “can do” attitude and the ability to work well under pressure and
aggressive deadlines.

Director, Liquid Packaging Materials
---------------------------------------
Need person experienced in materials for liquid packaging foods who is
“hands-on” in operating style. Key skill/experience areas should include:
liquid packaging, laminations, printing, coextrusion materials, plus
materials, adhesives and processes for creating retortable pouches.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to the food industry such as
USFDA CFR 113 Thermally Processes Foods is desired. Specific experience with
retortable packaging films to meet military and food industry specifications
is needed.

Manager, Liquid Packaging

Need an experienced mechanical engineer from the packaging equipment
industry who understands how to work with customers to develop packaging
systems layouts for liquid food applications.

Manager, Materials & Logistics
----------------------------------
Opportunity for a mechanical engineer with 15-20 years experience in the
packaging industry. This person must have experience with raw materials
purchasing, materials management and production planning management,
shipping/receiving, material handling, warehousing and transportation. CPM
and/or CPIM certification is needed. Also necessary are an understanding of
Capacity analysis, Bar coding, Bill of Materials, Routing, Distribution and
Logistics, Scheduling and Inventory Management.

Plant Manager

Responsible for small plant (< 100 employees) producing plastic bags for
consumer and industrial products. Need experience managing operations that
include blown film, adhesive laminating, flexo printing and bag forming
machines.
