                  Technical Support 



                  Job Description 



                  We currently have a team, workgroup technical opening 
available at the KDC Corporate Data Center in the Midrange Technical Support 
Services team.  The position is responsible for the day-to-day activity, 
management, and administration of a dynamic Windows support infrastructure and 
workgroup.  The applicant will work closely with the application and user team 
leads, vendors, and Corporate Data Center(s) Operations & Technical Support 
Staff teams. 

                   

                  Duties 

                  -         Provide Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 technical 
direction and support at both CDC and KDC.

                  -         Provide project leadership when interfacing and 
coordinating projects with users, applications, operations, and technical 
support teams.

                  -         Work with vendors on new product evaluations, 
upgrades, and/or problem resolutions.

                  -         Work with management to maintain a highly 
productive and stable Midrange Technical Support Windows infrastructure and 
workgroup team.

                  Stay informed about the industry's "best practices" in this 
area of support and use that knowledge to deliver and maintain high level of 
quality and value added services from the team

                  Job Requirements 

                  -         Three plus years of experience in supporting 
Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 data center environments.

                  -         One to two years of experience in supporting VMWare 
ESX environments

                  -         One to two years of experience with Active 
Directory desirable.

                  -         Citrix Metaframe XP experience a plus.

                  -         Highly motivated and able to work with minimal 
supervision.

                  -         Good analytical, problem solving, organizational 
and project management skills are required.

                  -         Good oral communication and technical writing 
skills are required.

                  -         Team leadership development skills and experience 
is a plus.

                  -         Must have technical aptitude and ability to learn 
new technologies.

                  -         Ability to handle multiple project assignments, 
concurrently.

                  -         Previous experience with the Foundation Methodology 
tools is a plus.
