Position Title:             Manager, Credit & Collections

Reports to:                 Manager, Financial Analysis & Planning 

            

 

Specifications and a Brief Description of the Position:

This position is responsible for managing the credit policy. This includes 
establishing credit lines, valuation of customer risk, and development of 
effective credit routines and controls.  Work with business management in 
defining roles and responsibilities of the Credit organization that best meets 
the needs of the business operations. Responsible for reporting and 
communicating credit issues and risks to management.  

           

Education and Experience Preferred: 

  a.. 5 to 10 years credit management 
  b.. Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting required 
  c.. Strong ability to communicate and work effectively in a matrix/team 
environment 
  d.. Effectively demonstrates the use of the core competencies for leaders 
(building productive relationships, continuous improvement, customer focus, 
facilitating and embracing change, results orientation, developing people for 
success, and leading through vision and values). 
  e.. Knowledge of credit and collection processes and tools 
  f.. Good management skills, ability to set employee goals and objectives, and 
develop metrics to measure credit/organization performance 
  g.. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Must have strong PC skills and knowledge of 
credit software tools
