Supervisor: CFO
Summary: Key support person of CFO.
Critical Attributes of Candidate: Must be flexible enough to quickly move from
one priority to another. Must be very quick learner. Must be able to tackle
problems, identify causes, and propose solutions. Must be able to take
ownership of responsibilities assigned. Must be able to multi-task with
multiple projects and prioritize with minimal assistance. Must have ability to
communicate effectively to various levels and disciplines. Must have ability to
gather large amounts of data and submit meaningful, accurate reports with
suggested steps for improvement. Must be a person of exemplary character and
someone who strives for excellence in all he/she does.
Required Skills: Must have excellent understanding of ERP systems, as well as
Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and Access. Some knowledge of Power
Point would also be helpful. Must have 3 to 5 years experience in a
manufacturing environment working with analysis, planning, and budgeting. Must
have solid understanding and some experience with FAS 52. Must have solid
understanding of product costing process. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in
Accounting. CPA a plus.
Responsibilities: Produce monthly and annual financial statements. Analyze key
financial data. Review general operating procedures and business processes
within department and company to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Provide data to outside tax professionals in US and abroad for tax compliance.
Backup others in accounting department during vacations and absences. Assist in
development of accounting guidelines, policies and procedures. Act as
troubleshooter. Assist with other accounting functions as assigned.
Hours: 45 - 50 hours per week on average
Maximum Base Pay: $50,000 per annum
