> A director is a seasoned leader that drives the culture and develops
leadership skills within the IT community.  Manages large teams and multiple
organizational units.  Capable of independently handling complex personnel
issues.  Plans and manages advanced budgets.  Leads complex organizational
and operational change initiatives that span multiple areas. Develops
organizational mission, objectives, milestones and plans with little
supervision.  Clearly and routinely communicates long-term vision to
employees.  Capable of defusing complex interpersonal issues effectively and
managing customer expectations.  Reports to the I&O Managing Director. This
person will be engaged in developing effective processes and support
functions within EPS that increase the reliability of our system services.
Reliability defined as the probability that the system will be able to
process work correctly and completely without being aborted or corrupted.
Plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of the Analysis and
Reporting group.  Responsible for the oversight of service levels for
> systems availability and operations.  Defines Bank One's technology
infrastructure architecture and standards.  Establishes department policies
and procedures.  Provides leadership and direction in the network,
enterprise computing (data center) and desktop/mobile platform areas.

> Job Requirements:
> Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related area and at
least 8 years of experience in the field; a Masters Degree is preferable. At
least 8 - 10 years in a management role with significant responsibility
including budget, project management and operations experience.  10 or more
years in production services that includes 24 X 7 support.  Experience and
technical capability in Mainframe, and also large midrange, midrange and
file transfer.  Technical knowledge at a management level with MVS, Zeke,
CA-7/11, Control-M, JCL, TSO.  Systems development background and/or
application development background is beneficial.  Project management
experience and discipline knowledge.  Solid communication, verbal and oral;
including PowerPoint.
