Candidates must have 5+ years Continuity Planning experience.

The DR Specialist will provide leadership in coordinating, assessing &
communicating recovery environment requirements to appropriate
technology groups, resulting in recommendations to enable timely,
effective decisions regarding hardware/software recovery planning. 
Candidates will be expected to lead in performing data center
recovery/contingency planning coordination with technology groups in
support of specific business unit initiatives with a major focus on
proactively assuring an adequate recovery network and processing
environment, as well as, accurate, predictive budgeting.  This position
will also maintain and enforce disaster recovery testing methodologies
and coordinate recovery exercises for internal and outsourced services
which includes planning, tracking, follow-up, and management reporting
required to resolve all issues identified, to ensure the firm's ability
to recovery, in the event of a disaster.  This position will be
expected to assume a leadership role in developing, coordinating, and
maintaining comprehensive  data center, hardware, and application level
DR testing program, to ensure the firm's ability to recover, in the
event of a disaster.Candidates must have 5+ years Continuity Planning
experience, leadership/supervision skills and the ability to perform
complex scheduling, control and planning with minimal supervision. 
Preference will be given to those with possessing a CBCP certification.
Candidates must have advanced project management skills (MS Project a
plus), strong analytical and independent reasoning abilities and the
ability to work with people both individually and in groups. 
Candidates should have the ability to perform cost/benefit analysis and
an operational knowledge of personal computing, distributed, midrange
and/or mainframe platforms.  Candidates must have a thorough knowledge
of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and advanced
communication skills (written and verbal).  Financial services
experience is strongly preferred.
