Company is a top ten grocery wholesaler. Employs 5,000 people in retail,
wholesale, transportation and non-food operations. Total of nine divisions
serving10+ states and over 700 stores, 100+ of which are corporate stores.
Total of
$3B+ sales.
This position ensures the existence of merchandising plans, programs, &
campaigns necessary to merchandise bakery.
Provides direction to retail & wholesale divisions in the areas of planning,
procurement, and merchandising.
Audits & assists divisions' sales product management in developing &
establishing merchandising techniques.
Work in conjunction with marketing department and operations.
Develop category strategy for planning merchandising programs.
Manage annual, quarterly and monthly budgets.
Responsible for store layout and services offered.
Responsible for  business processes to ensure safe, fresh foods.
Develop vendor relationships.
Must have:
8+ years of retail management experience, mostly in Bakery
Proven expertise in Bakery with increasing levels of responsibility in past
positions
Bachelor's degree
Superb communication skills
