1.    Co-anchor assigned newscasts, Monday through Friday.

2.    Gather, write and present news reports, as assigned.

3.    Report live on location from various news events.

4.    Research and develop news stories.

5.    Perform various community service activities for station, =
including performing as

       master of ceremonies for public service events and as =
host/hostess for station

       events.

6.    Periodically required to drive personal or company vehicle to =
cover various

       assignments.

7.    Perform other duties as needed and as directed by the News =
Director and other

 News managers.

Requirements:

Education:              Liberal Arts degree from an accredited college =
or university preferred.

=20

Experience:            Minimum five years on air anchor/reporter.

=20

Skills/Abilities:          Must demonstrate strong news judgment and =
organizational skills. Must have keen sense of logistics, and ability to =
work well on deadline.  Must have excellent creative and editorial =
judgment. Mastery of journalistic ethics and libel laws.  Flexible work =
hours required, including holidays, weekends and evenings.  Knowledge of =
Avstar News computer system preferred.

License:                   Must possess a valid driver's license and =
provide proof of insurance.
