 Brand Manager -----  a key leadership position reporting directly to the CMO. 

The role requires significant skills to harness the expertise of highly 
qualified and diverse groups of specialists across the organization. It 
requires a strong background and significant experience in the development and 
implementation of marketing campaigns. The three skills that  are essential to 
be successful are leadership, initiative and follow through and thinking and 
problem solving. 

Key result areas 

Responsible for a small team including a US Assistant Brand Manager and a 
European Marketing Support Manager but working closely with the corporate 
communications team, NBD and Operations. 

The role is based full time in Cincinnati 

The Brand Manager will have responsibility for the development and 
implementation of 4 marketing plans,  one for each service brand. This will 
include: 

  a.. Planning and analysis of market and opportunity areas 
  b.. Key message development, working with the Ass't Director of Corporate 
Communications and external experts (e.g. agency, market research) 
  c.. Agreement of marketing strategy and tactics across OUs 
  d.. Implementation of mailing, materials, Advertising support to agreed 
schedules and costs 
  e.. Management of the materials development process supported by the 
Marketing Specialist 
  f.. Development and management of the Sales and Marketing Contact Database, 
supported by the Marketing Specialist 
  g.. Implementation of PR specific activity - events, symposia, meetings and 
PR spin off activity (this will be a big part of the role) 
  h.. Liaison with external agencies 
  i.. Budget management 
  j.. Liaison with the Communications team 

  Key skills and experience 

    a.. Leadership, IFT, TPS are primary 
    b.. Strong communication and influencing skills 
    c.. Marketing implementation experience in service sector (ideal if in CRO 
or healthcare) 
    d.. Track record of consistent delivery versus challenging objectives in a 
marketing role 
    e.. Evidence of working with sales to deliver integrated marketing 
approaches 
    f.. Beneficial to have experience in marketing in more than one area e.g. 
product, service, consumer 
    g.. Beneficial to have understanding of the CRO sector 

    Qualifications 

      a.. Business/Marketing Degree a plus.
