> Job Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
> This position is responsible for the general business planning for the
> Andover commercial site. This includes long-range strategic planning and
> project management of mid-term goals and objectives. The position is also
> responsible for identifying and developing systems and methodologies to
> improve performance of the business unit and includes meeting
facilitation.
> Responsibilities:
> Prepare and maintain long-term Site Strategic Plan aligned with WBP and
> Wyeth overarching Strategic Plans. Includes Capacity Planning and
> Infrastructure for all departments and functions on site. Interface with
WBP
> Strategic Planning Group and other corporate functions.
> Integrate and consolidate tactical planning and key projects with
strategic
> plans and provide high level tracking and overview of major costs,
resource
> allocations, and project timing. Prepare high level consolidated reports
> that allow Site Sr. Management to effectively prioritize and allocate
> resources at the macro level. Reports will also serve as tool to
communicate
> (internally and externally) overall consolidated status of site-related
> projects and initiatives.
> Participate in Project Management Office to maintain rolling 18-month
goals
> and objectives for the commercial site. Participate in maintaining the
> commercial site project management function.
> Responsible for annual commercial site budgeting project management;
drives
> adherence to corporate budget schedule.
> Facilitate AHT, CEA, and EAN processes. May include defining business
case,
> preparing documents and tracking approvals.
> Identify and develop systems and methodologies to improve performance of
> business unit; collect data, analyze information, identify trends and
> opportunities to maximize business efficiencies.
> Assist Managing Director in preparing various presentations. Organize
> agendas and coordinate Development, Operations, Quality, and Network
content
> of presentations for visiting corporate management, and customers.
> Coordinate participation in Global Recognition Program through TOPS and
> other reward and recognition programs developed by Wyeth BioPharma.
> Collaborate with Wyeth Public Relations to further develop and maintain
> appropriate community and government relationships. Represent site in
> community organizations and forums.
> Training & Experience Requirements:
> BS in Business or Finance, MBA highly desirable
> Project Management, Meeting Facilitation, Options Analysis
> 8-10 years in business operations required. Individual must have strong
> business background. Experience in biopharmaceutical industry a plus.
> Requires excellent communication, facilitation, management, collaboration
> and organization skills. Proficient at objective analysis.
