Job Description
The eLearning Consultant will work within FESCo Service Delivery University
(SDU) to support FESCo clients and associates. This person has leadership
responsibility for managing large scale eLearning projects, utilizing
Instructional Design principles to provide consulting services in defining
appropriate learning solutions for clients, working with Learning Management
Systems, designing, developing, and delivering, courses using eLearning
authoring tools. SDUâ??s suite of authoring tools includes Lectora,
Dreamweaver w/ Coursebuilder, Flash, Captivate, SoftSim, Evolution, and
Perception. 

The eLearning Consultant will provide strategic direction by staying current
with the eLearning industry, researching new authoring tools, environments,
media, and eLearning techniques, and assisting the team in providing cutting
edge learning solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  * 7 â?? 10 years experience defining appropriate media, designing,
developing, and implementing CBT / WBT learning solutions utilizing
eLearningauthoring tools. Direct experience with SDUâ??s suite of authoring
tools is preferred. (SDUâ??s suite of authoring tools includes Lectora,
Dreamweaver w/ Coursebuilder, Flash, Captivate, SoftSim, Evolution, and
Perception). Comparable authoring tool experience will be considered.
  * 7 â??10 years experience including program / project management and
design / development of technology of electronic performance support tools
and alternative training media.
  * Specialized expertise in one or more of the following: CBT / WBT
authoring and hypertext, LMS / LCMS integration, AICC / SCORM development,
designing and implementing blended learning solutions, and electronic
performance support.
  * Effective consulting and client management skills; must be able to
effectively balance the need to be customer focused and the need to drive
forresults.
  * Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and
oral).
  * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage programs and multiple
projectsacross cross-functional teams. 
  * Demonstrated ability to quickly establish and maintain credibility and
effective working relationships across multiple levels of the organization 
  * In-depth knowledge of Learning Management Systems, development
processes,media strategies, and effectiveness assessment methods.
  * In-depth knowledge of designing technical solutions for multiple
computing environments / web browsers.
  * M.Ed. in instructional design or educational technology preferred
  * Experience in financial services industry preferred
  * Experience in instructional design preferred
  * Experience working with audio / video media preferred
