L'Oreal USA is currently recruiting for an Analyst/Sr. Systems Analyst
for the Florence, KY location.

The primary purpose of the Sr. Systems Analyst is to manage Servers,
applications running on these servers, network and desktop support in
the plant. Configure and install new servers and workstations. Manage
backup of all the servers on daily basis, trouble shoot server and
networking issues and escalate them through proper channels in case of a
critical issues. Help the team in troubleshooting desktop and MES
related issues.

The following are key factors in the evaluation of the success of this
function:
Knowledge of HP server hardware (installation/upgrade/Trouble-shooting)
Knowledge of HP EVA SAN technologies (Desirable)
Knowledge of SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 database installation, trouble
shooting, backup and restore.
Knowledge of Network equipment including switches and WI-FI technology
Knowledge of Windows 2003 server/Windows NLB/Windows XP
Efficiency in filtering, resolving and relaying problems
Knowledge of backup / restore software of Windows O/S

Key Responsibilities but are not limited to:
Maintain servers in the computer room and be able to identify/resolve
any hardware/Software/Network issues
Keep up to date all Microsoft Patches on the servers
Ensure good daily backups and send the backup tapes out to the outside
facility
Assist the team during any major hardware or software roll out
Learn the MES architecture (Hardware and software) 
Desktop support
Available for off hour support rotation


Technical competence : 
WI-FI ' Technology with CISCO access points, Teklogixs and ACS server
Legato Backup
Double-Take Software used for failover and recovery
Columbus Output Management / Adobe Central
Windows 2003 server and SQL 2005 Disaster Recovery Planning
Disk Management through HP utilities and EVA console
Server Antivirus Management using Symantec / Trend Micro
Troubleshooting IIS
SQL Server 2000/2005- SQL Server Administration 
Windows 2003 system with network load balancing (NLB)
Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM server 2005)
Personal Qualities: 
Communication (listening ability, reformulation of reports in summary
form.)
Ability to adapt own language to different levels of contact, personal
relationship skills
Training skills
Reactivity/responsiveness
A motivation for 'customer service'
Ability to learn & understand the different business processes
Good business sense
Rigor & organizational skills
Analytical & problem solving abilities
A 'feel' for information systems
Industrial operational skills, pragmatic approach
Educational background / experience
Bachelors Degree 
Language(s): English (French and Spanish a plus) 
Desired but not mandatory experience in the following functional areas:

Receiving
Internal inventory flows
Shipping
Warehouse management
