Job Description:

Local growing client is looking to hire a direct resource to their staff
with a background in leading Oracle implementations.  A senior level
position providing leadership and advisory expertise for best practices in
the implementation of large scale Oracle 11i ERP applications is the perfect
match for this opportunity.  Candidate will display a strong desire to learn
quality audit process and have 5 years of project leadership on an Oracle
11i ERP deployment.  

o       Functional consulting or project core team leadership experience in
Oracle 11i E-Business Suite applications deployment (preferably
Logistics/Supply chain modules)

o       Working knowledge of supply chain/logistics processes

o       Creating functional requirements as an input to application design

o       Development and testing detailed functional designs for business
solution components

o       Application build, test and deployment activities

o       Planning and executing RICEW (reports, interfaces, conversions,
extensions, workflow) activities

o       Experience in driving test planning and execution

o       Direct experience in the use of a structured deployment methodology
such as Oracle's AIM

o       Proven track record in process organization analysis and solutions
alignment

o       Project/Team leadership

 

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

o       Knowledge of Oracle 11i infrastructure architecture

o       Knowledge of Oracle 11i support environments

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

o       Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Systems or similar field

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:

o       Research Oracle 11i best practices and failure drivers for target
client environments.

o       Provide ERP deployment methodology insight and guidance to client's
team project management

o       Provide Oracle 11i techno-functional insight into development of
critical success factors/major failure drivers for:

.        Assessment survey and interview questions templates

.        Target artifact (documents) inspection list 

.        RICEW code analysis candidates

o       Undertake client interviews as part of the client's assessment teams

o       Attend client technical and functional project team meetings

o       Identify, access and review/inspect targeted project artifacts

o       Provide technical support for RICEW code analysis activities

o       Collect and document strengths, weaknesses and facts from surveys,
interviews, artifacts assessments and code analysis 

o       Drive affinity analysis on findings for the following key
performance views:

.        Business Process (Blueprinting)

.        Systems architecture

.        RICEW

.        Configuration management

.        Technical development management

.        Deployment

o       Use ERP implementation experience and Oracle 11i systems knowledge
to:

.        Identify priority or foundational weaknesses/risks

.        Define and justify remedial actions 

o       Work with team Quality and Risk management resources to establish
current and predictive metrics for rework impact of observed defects.

o       Build reports and presentation material documenting strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, risks and prioritized recommendations for action
based upon affinity analysis.

o       Present materials to client leadership and staff.

o       Use past and current experience to update and improve the client's
assessment methodology.
