Summary:
An immediate employment opportunity is available for a Regional Director
of Human Resources for a large Indianapolis, IN retail store chain. The
Regional Director of Human Resources will report to the Vice President
of Human Resources and be responsible for a region covering a 3 state
mid-west territory.

partner in their pursuit of sales, outstanding customer service,
customer loyalty and revenue.)
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
The Regional Director of Human Resources is responsible for guiding
Store HR executives via a dotted-line reporting relationship. This
individual also serves as a business partner with Regional Vice
Presidents, General Managers, and regional teams to achieve sales,
earnings, service and loyalty goals.
The Regional Director of Human Resources provides direction and support
to stores regarding:
*       Talent Acquisition/Talent Management
*       Recruitment, Interviewing, Selection, On-Boarding & Retention
*       Talent Assessment/Succession Planning
*       Development
*       Associate Relations
*       Legal Compliance
*       Selling Capabilities
*       Performance Management
*       Executive Recruitment/Placement
*       Compensation. 
 
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
The preferred Candidate will have previous retail business experience as
a HR Generalist and leadership (managing others) credentials. The Ideal
candidate will have a good mix of HR and selling background in a
high-volume store, and management experience at a
district/regional/director level for department stores or big box
retailer.  The availability for travel, including overnight travel is
included in the employer's expectations 
 
Compensation & Benefits
The employer offers excellent benefits and a very competitive annual
compensation package in the $70 to $80k range.
