The following position is available in the Housing and Community
Investment Department:
 
Position:                          Housing Program Analyst
 
Responsibilities:

disbursement of Affordable Housing Program (AHP) funds and Community
Investment Cash Advance (CICA) funds.  Reviews information submitted by
members and their sponsor partners.  Analyzes and compares information
with original approved application and program standards to determine
need for subsidy.  Investigates all discrepancies and consults with the
member, the sponsor, appropriate HCI staff and other authorities to
resolve issues or recommends denial of funding.  Assures that the
disbursement of funds are accurate, timely, and documented, and that
exceptions are investigated, rectified and documented.  Assures timely
and accurate audit and examination of all disbursements.  Participates
in the review and scoring of AHP applications and in the review and
approval of CICA applications.
 
Qualifications:                 Knowledge at a level normally acquired
through completion of an Associate Degree, preferably in Accounting,
Finance, Business or a related field. Must possess three to five years
of related experience as a housing program analyst, loan underwriter,
loan originator/processor, or housing manager.  Must also possess
effective oral and written communication skills and strong analytical
skills to gather and interpret data and prepare reports. Knowledge of
federal, state and local housing programs and regulations preferred.
Advanced skills using Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and the
ability to use comprehensive databases is required.
 
Working Conditions:      Normal working hours for this position are
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  This position
requires flexibility to meet tight deadlines.  Minimal work outside of
office environment may be required.
