Marketing Account Manager
The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is the nation's fifth largest
chamber of commerce, with
more than 6,000 member businesses. The Chamber's talented professional
staff of 75 people
shares a commitment to leadership, service and teamwork and work with
thousands of engaged
member companies, Cincinnati USA Partnership investors, and community
partners to grow our
regional economy and community, stimulating opportunities for everyone.
We are recruiting a proactive, creative marketing account manager who
will provide strategic
marketing counsel and account management for the economic development
initiatives of the
Chamber and the marketing efforts for attracting and retaining young
professionals to the region.
This person will lead and execute marketing and communications efforts
that promote the
Cincinnati USA region, its industries, assets and quality of life, to
prospective businesses and
consultants looking to expand and/or locate their business to this area
and to young talent
looking to live and work in Cincinnati USA. In addition, this person
will work to promote minority
businesses and early start up companies.
The ideal candidate will have both a solid business to business and
business to consumer
marketing background, strong project management skills and a strong
writing proficiency. This
person will develop strategic plans, manage agencies/designers to
produce collateral materials,
annual reports, print, direct mail, trade show graphics, online/email
marketing.
This position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills to
manage relationships
ranging from elected officials and senior executives to diverse groups
of young professionals and
industry experts. Ability to manage budgets, timelines and juggle
multiple tasks a must.
PR/agency experience strongly desired. Minimum five years experience,
college degree in
marketing/communications preferred.
