Centennial, Inc. is currently looking for a .Net developer for one of our

The .Net Developer is a key member of the .Net- based client subsystem team
for a new policy production system being developed. The .Net Developer will
work with the Lead developer for this team to analyze, design, build, test,
and implement .Net client subsystem using C#.

Responsibilities:

--Use Microsoft Visual Studio to design, build, debug C# code for the client
subsystem
--Create .Net objects from existing UML design documents while following all
existing design and coding standards
--Assist in design and code reviews
--Assist in system integration and debugging activities
--Assist in the creating UML designs


Requirements:

--3-5 years OO developer experience (C++ or C#)
--Worked with MFC and Win32 API?s
--Coded and supported a multi-tier application with a client deploy
--Implemented an online help system for at least one production application
--Demonstrated self-starter who can work in a small team with minimal
supervision
--Working knowledge of client deployment issues - must have previously
deployed client applications and supported them in the field

Desired Skills:

--Experience with the threading model used by Win32 (not MFC?s model) and
should have implemented at least one application that used threads
--Good working knowledge of DCOM
--Screen design experience on several projects
--Good working knowledge of Internet protocols/programming models (TCP/IP,
HTTP/HTTPS, and Sockets)
--Some familiarity with XML, SOAP, distributed security, Microsoft?s model
and LDAP
--Experience with design patterns to know Publish/Subscribe, Push/Pull, and
Model/View/Controller
--Professional, courteous, and organized
--Effective listening and oral communication skills
--Good business and technical writing skills
--Exhibits aptitude for problem solving

Education:
Technology Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience in object-oriented
(OO) programming and three years of Windows development
