Subject: Logistics Recruiting - Oct 16 posting
Here are the present open assignments. Do not forget to keep me in mind when
you hear of companies needing assistance in their logistics staffing needs.
Do not ever hesitate to respond to one of these job postings. I do not have
room to share all of the requirements for the position so that is why it
would be benefical for you to respond. When you do respond please do share
your resume as this will allow me to get back to you quicker.
Thanks for the encouraging comments on me sharing personal stuff in the job
posting.
Someone suggested I put the new assignments at the beginning. So that is
the reason for the change.
.
1) Project Manager - up to $85K - CA - I satisfied a position with
this company last year and the person is really pleased she made the
decision to accept the offer - need someone with at least 5 years in IT
projects in Supply Chain environment - specifically implementing WMS, MRP
and/or ERP packages - would prefer local candidates (South California), but
will consider those living in the Southwest
2) Distribution Center Manager - up to $85K - NM - this is with a
growing 3PL headquartered in NM - in this particular center product moved is
industrial in nature - they are aware that relocating is a reality - need
someone with more commercial distribution experience versus retail -
processing at least five potential candidates - waiting for client to tell
me when to send the files
3) Operations Manager in Ontario, CA - up to $85K - this is an
international manufacturer/distribution of health related products - looking
for #2 person in a 300,000 sq ft + facility - local candidates only - client
stated they would be interested in hiring over-qualified individuals who
would love to stay in the are, but they cannot do any flex on the salary -
we are processing five quality candidates for this position - referred them
two last week - heard from HR last week and she is going to set up three
interviews this week
4) International Logistics Manager - up to $70K - WI - company is
importing more and more of their finished product - needs individual to
handle international transportation and all custom compliance - ideally we
would love to have a candidate who has their custom license, but not
necessary - at least 3 years of transportation import experience required -
had one good candidate referred, but he did not want to live in the area -
had one good candidate on file, but he elected not to relocate - have no
candidates under consideration - still no candidates so if you know of
anyone please refer - no new candidates, however, I did hear from the client
and he is quite anxious to hire someone - got two candidates for him to
review just waiting for his response on when he wants me to send their files
5) Logistics Liaison Manager - salary between $70-90K - Atlanta the
position is with an electronics manufacturer/distributor - the position
would be located at the headquarters of one of their major clients -
conducting the communication at all levels from the various stores to the
manufacturer - requirements are someone who has worked at lest five years in
a transportation or logistics position where they interacted with their
customer - local candidates only - have referred four and have another four
or five that I am waiting on additional information - referred them five but
no response as of this date - phone interview this week with one of the
candidates - the client was supposed to interview someone while I was on the
retreat, but have not heard from either the client or the candidate - they
had to reschedule the phone interview - the candidate turned down the
position because of the top dollar of $90K - waiting for the department head
to give me advise on what to do with the others I referred and other
candidates who are interested and I need to process
6) Logistics Analyst - salary between $50-70K - Houston - local
candidates only - international company with significant presence in the
petroleum industry - will do in-depth analysis of
transportation/operation/supply chain policies - this is a true analytical
position - local candidates only - have one candidate being interviewed this
Thursday - feel he will be receiving an offer later today - I filled one of
the positions last week - need one more - tried to get them interested in
the over-qualified, but it did not work out - my candidate starts to work
today - we would also be interested in individuals with any analysis
experience, transportation, SC, operational, financial really does not
matter
7) Vice President Fulfillment - MO - up to $175K - we are continuing
to search for the candidate for this position - the referrals will be
limited to those who have worked in a catalogue retail fulfillment operation
where they were process in excess of 10,000 orders a day - plus we need
extensive business and financial planning experience - have two good
candidates - one I am referring tomorrow, the other I am waiting on more
data - still playing the waiting game - have one candidate going through a
phone interview next Tuesday
8) Vice President Call Center Operations up to $110K if necessary) -
on this position my referrals are going to be limited to those who have
managed multiple call centers with a retail catalogue operations - they must
also need to have exposure to a distribution fulfillment operations - as I
get more information I will post it here on the weekly posting - got some
excellent candidates and am now waiting for additional information I
requested - referred them two good candidates last week - waiting on replies
from four more - still waiting on more replies - one is schedule for phone
interview this week
9) Call Center Manager - up to $70K - NJ - this is with the same
company on which I satisfied the Director of Transportation position - call
center recruiting is not my strength so I am having to rely on referrals -
found out this is an abbreviated second shift operation - had one good
candidate but she did not want to work the second shift - it was during this
process I found out the position is for those interested in managing part of
a second shift and weekend operations
