Here are the present open assignments. Do not forget to keep me in mind when
you hear of companies needing assistance in their logistics staffing needs.
Do not ever hesitate to respond to one of these job postings. I do not have
room to share all of the requirements for the position so that is why it
would be benefical for you to respond. When you do respond please do share
your resume as this will allow me to get back to you quicker.
1) Distribution Supervisor - 11/03/06 up to $65K - OH/PA - regional
growing consumer products retailer running a 24/7 operation needs
Distribution Supervisors - individual needs to be local and at least 3 years
of supervisory experience - have two options considering a recent graduate
or a seasoned veteran who wants to stay in the area
2) Distribution Engineer - 11/03/06 up to $90K - Atlanta - successful
national consulting firm that specializes in the design and start up of new
distribution facilities - this would include both software installation and
hardware - must have degree - live in the Atlanta area - willing to travel
and at least five years of comparable experience
3) Distribution Professionals - 11/03/06 up to $120K - Southern
California - national 3PL - home office on the east coast has growing
operation in CA - the hiring manager is not sure exactly what he needs to
hire, he just knows he needs some help - he would like to consider
individuals with at least the last five years in the 3PL industry one or
more facilities - wants to stay local
4) Distribution/Logistics Planning Analyst - 11/03/06 - up to $85K -
NJ not sure 100% on the status of this position - major division of an
existing company was purchased by a larger operation - (integration still
ongoing) - the hiring manager needs at least two individuals with strong
analysis experience in inventory analysis - because of the situation I am
only going to refer those who are unemployed
5) Operations Manager - 10/19/06 up to $100K - NJ - on this particular
position the individual could be based in any of the NE states, as there is
a lot of travel involved - up to 75% - individual would be responsible for
15 + locations in various NE states - potential candidates must have at
least a BS degree and a minimum of five years in a management capacity of
multi facilities - the department head who gave me the assignment said they
were in a hurry to hire - individuals must be presently living in the NE -
referred them one individual they rejected as he did not have a degree -
referred them another good candidate today - they are going to be
interviewing in NJ this coming Thursday so if you know of anyone interested
we need to hurry - apparently the interview went quite well
6) Project Manager - up to $85K - CA - I satisfied a position with
this company last year and the person is really pleased she made the
decision to accept the offer - need someone with at least 5 years in IT
projects in Supply Chain environment - specifically implementing WMS, MRP
and/or ERP packages - would prefer local candidates (South California), but
will consider those living in the Southwest - had two good candidates
respond last week - one is going to be interviewed this week - apparently
the interview last week went quite well
7) Operations Manager in Ontario, CA - up to $85K - this is an
international manufacturer/distribution of health related products - looking
for #2 person in a 300,000 sq ft + facility - local candidates only - client
stated they would be interested in hiring over-qualified individuals who
would love to stay in the are, but they cannot do any flex on the salary -
we are processing five quality candidates for this position - referred them
two last week - two candidates being interviewed this week by two different
management personnel via phone - heard from the candidates that they had a
good interview, but have gotten no feedback from the client - got the
feedback one individual had an onsite interview this morning
8) International Logistics Manager - up to $70K - WI - company is
importing more and more of their finished product - needs individual to
handle international transportation and all custom compliance - ideally we
would love to have a candidate who has their custom license, but not
necessary - at least 3 years of transportation import experience required -
had one good candidate referred, but he did not want to live in the area -
had one good candidate on file, but he elected not to relocate - have no
candidates under consideration - still no candidates so if you know of
anyone please refer - no new candidates, however, I did hear from the client
and he is quite anxious to hire someone - sent him two good candidates last
week - got one excellent candidate who is will be sending his file to the
client tomorrow
9) Logistics Liaison Manager - salary between $70-90K - Atlanta the
position is with an electronics manufacturer/distributor - the position
would be located at the headquarters of one of their major clients -
conducting the communication at all levels from the various stores to the
manufacturer - requirements are someone who has worked at lest five years in
a transportation or logistics position where they interacted with their
customer - local candidates only - have referred four and have another four
or five that I am waiting on additional information - referred them five but
no response as of this date - phone interview this week with one of the
candidates - the client was supposed to interview someone while I was on the
retreat, but have not heard from either the client or the candidate - they
had to reschedule the phone interview - the candidate turned down the
position because of the top dollar of $90K - waiting for the department head
to give me advise on what to do with the others I referred and other
candidates who are interested and I need to process - talked to the
department head just a few minutes ago - he has been traveling for the last
couple of weeks, was why the delay in getting back to me - we have decided
to limit our processing the following: 1) individuals with at least a
Bachelor degree; 2) strong in transportation analysis; 3) strong in
inventory control; 4) experience in working with the mass merchandisers; 5)
strong in project analysis; 6) strong operational management experience. I
am going to be going through all of the resumes of all who responded in the
last few weeks this evening and getting back with you on our interest - just
heard from the client as I was putting this together - waiting for response
for the hiring executive
10) Vice President Fulfillment - MO - up to $175K - we are continuing to
search for the candidate for this position - the referrals will be limited
to those who have worked in a catalogue retail fulfillment operation where
they were process in excess of 10,000 orders a day - plus we need extensive
business and financial planning experience - have two good candidates - one
I am referring tomorrow, the other I am waiting on more data - still playing
the waiting game - have one candidate going through a phone interview
tomorrow - no feedback - HR was impressed with the individual and has
referred his file to the President with recommendation for another phone
interview
11) Vice President Call Center Operations up to $110K if necessary) - on
this position my referrals are going to be limited to those who have managed
multiple call centers with a retail catalogue operations - they must also
need to have exposure to a distribution fulfillment operations - as I get
more information I will post it here on the weekly posting - got some
excellent candidates and am now waiting for additional information I
requested - referred them two good candidates last week - waiting on replies
from four more - have one candidate having a phone interview this week - no
feedback - the candidate did not express interest

Mt Gillihan update - took me three weeks but I got all of my bulbs in the
ground - next is the two guys coming in to shred all of my limbs and such
