mark-ups, sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images. 
ï¿½     Occasional interface with engineers and other team members to receive 
input, clarification, and other relevant technical information.
ï¿½     Calculate tolerance stack-ups to verify design fit-up. 
ï¿½     Coordinate with all disciplines to ensure that the drawings convey the 
correct information and are error free. 
ï¿½     Use national and local codes as guidelines.

Requirements_Qualif: Education and Experience: 
ï¿½     Basic knowledge and experience in ductwork layouts, design, and 
fabrication with a familiarity with piping design
ï¿½     Basic knowledge and experience in mechanical room layouts
ï¿½     Basic knowledge and familiarity, with an interest in gaining proficient 
knowledge, of the following equipment / components, (air handlers, VAV 
terminals, dampers, diffusers, etc.)
ï¿½     Degree from a recognized CAD training facility preferred
ï¿½     1 ï¿½ 3 years minimal experience in drawing/designing. 
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
ï¿½     Must be able to read, interpret, and use applicable standards, 
specifications, and customer-supplied documentation. 
ï¿½     Understanding of Architectural/Building Design and Layout
ï¿½     Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for 
completeness and accuracy of work produced. 
ï¿½     Able to receive and transmit drawings electronically with or without 
translation into customer CAD software. 
ï¿½     Computer literate in AutoCad 2007 and Microsoft Office Suite Programs 
(Excel, Word). 
ï¿½     Must be a self-starter, as well as a team player capable of interacting 
well with other team members, clients, and other contacts.
ï¿½     Must be able to contribute in design reviews. 
ï¿½     Good written and verbal communication skills.
