Job Description
 

The Application Coordinator (AC) for the Pharmacy Team (Pharmacist
required) is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of the
clinical information software and serves as a bridge between the
hospital end users and the Epic implementation staff.  The AC
understands the clinical workflows, processes, policies and business
operations.  The AC provides effective communication with the
implementation team.  This individual reviews, analyzes and builds the
system in collaboration with Epic, hospital business representatives,
subject matter experts and end users.  The coordinator performs in-depth
analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other
technical issues associated with the use of the Epic software.  The AC
develops and documents internal procedures to be used in conjunction
with the Epic application.  They are responsible for planning,
overseeing and coordinating Epic training for all staff and developing
the policies and procedures to govern training.  The AC develops, builds
and maintains the training environment and curriculum. Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy, Registered Pharmacist in the
state of Ohio or eligible . Hours: M-F, 8 am-5pm (flexible), weekends
and holidays when required. Availability to work flexible hours as
needed.
