BBB Seeks Volunteer Mediators


For more than 20 years, the BBB Dispute Resolution Program has made it
possible for businesses and customers to resolve disputes while avoiding =
the
acrimony and costs of litigation. In the last few years, the demand for =
our
mediation services has grown extensively.=20

Are you the type of person who can ...=20

*       Listen objectively to an argument and see the salient points of both
sides,=20
*       Ask probing questions to get at the heart of the matter, =20
*       Break large problems into smaller parts that are easier to
understand, =20
*       Re-state issues so that opposing parties can see them in a new way,

*       Help people take a realistic look at core issues, =20
*       Find possible solutions to issues, =20
*       Help people to recognize what is really fact and what is emotion, =20
*       Keep your head when all around you are losing theirs?=20

The Better Business Bureau is seeking mediators who meet the above =
criteria,
have completed mediator training, have experience mediating cases on =
various
issues, and are willing to volunteer their time.=20
