Dear fellow job seekers,
I hate to be out of work. I get depressed, then I get angry, then I want
to get the process of getting my next job done as quickly as possible.
On the other hand, I have had lousy jobs before and turn them down when
they are offerred, if I am smart enough to spot a bad one.
I have discovered a great resource in the two companies that Scott
Henderson heads up: Pro-Train and True North Career Services. Many of
you have taken 2 hour courses in areas like non-verbal communications
during interviews from Valerie McClure.
Through the True North organization, Scott Henderson offers four
certified career coaches including Valerie McClure. They claim that they
can help you find a better job faster. I believe that claim based on my
own experience.
They offer a free hour of coaching with one of the four of them to see
if the personal chemistry feels right to you
I made an appointment with Valerie McClure for the free hour and was so
pleased with her approach and ideas that I signed up for four paid
sessions with her. I have completed those four sessions, and I am so
delighted with what I have gained, that I signed up for another four.
If you do not have a career coach, I encourage you to talk with Valerie
or one of the other coaches at True North to decide whether you can
afford to pass up the opportunity to get a better job faster.
I do not own stock in the two companies and am not receiving any
compensation
for this endorsement. I do, however, believe strongly in sharing a
great resource when I find one.
