All,
I was just made aware of a job opening in Cincinnati for a test engineer at 
Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson and Johnson company.  Based on the vague 
description, it think it is a position for which I am suited.  

And though I've already submitted the application online, I was hoping somebody 
might know a person at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, or JnJ, so I might be able to get 
more information - about the company's or the position.

      Description 
      Work with lead engineer or project engineer to determine performance 
requirements of proposed pre-clinical testing. Develop test procedures and 
testing methodologies to support new product development. Schedule and execute 
testing using analog and digital data acquisition systems. Coordinate the test 
activities of team members and of Reliability Development Laboratory test 
technicians. Report results to the customer, ensuring the reliability and 
quality of data produced in support of product development efforts. 

     
      Qualifications 
      Bachelor of science degree in an engineering discipline. Able to 
understand engineering design issues in order to conceptualize and develop test 
equipment and intepret the data produced. Analytical abilities with creative 
thinking & problem solving skills applied to product testing & development 
while keeping a focus on customer needs. Good technical writing and oral 
communication skills. Capable of effectively managing multiple parallel 
projects in a diverse team environment.
