Holland Roofing is seeking entry level roofers to work in the Northern
Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. 
 

All qualified Candidates will be contacted for an interview. 

Starting pay will be $10.00 per hour.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Entry-level Roofer/Laborer

 

Reports to: Foreman

 

Description: Responsible for Job-Site preparation,
construction/installation of new roofs and job-site cleanup.

 

*This is not a supervisory position. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

*       Basic math reasoning and problem solving techniques
*       Ability to use and read tape measure
*       Frequent lifting and carrying 30 - 50 pounds, occasionally more
*       Frequent bending, kneeling and stooping
*       Standing for long periods of time
*       Acending/decending ladders and working at various heights
*       Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
*       Ability to work overtime as needed (including weekends)
*       Knowledge of hand tools and power tools, ability to use safely
*       Strong attention to detail
*       Maintain all OSHA safety guidelines at all times               
*       Wear proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
*       Be on time, be responsible and be reliable
*       Take initiative and ask about other work that needs to be
completed

 

Non-Essential Functions:

*       Setting up materials and equipment
*       Taking down all materials and equipment
*       Make sure all holes are covered and marked on the roof
*       Lay out insulation, measure and cut around penetrations
*       Job site housekeeping

 

Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor/foreman/superintendent.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

*       Must be able to perform all essential and non-essential job
functions with or without reasonable accommodations
*       Must provide own transportation to and from job sites
*       Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as
random testing
*       Must provide own hand tools and work boots. (All other materials
and safety equipment will be provided by Holland Roofing)
