HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR
Westfield, IN (15 miles north of Indianapolis)

Summary
Fast growing, values-driven respiratory therapy business that provides
clinical services and equipment and disposable products to long term care
and homecare markets across the US, has an employment opportunity for a
qualified Human Resource Director. Reporting to the CEO the HR Director is
responsible for overall HR activities including: employee benefits,
compensation, recruitment, training, development, retention, employee
relations, safety & health, personnel policies, communication, and
regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities Include:
·         Manages and administers benefits programs such as life, health,
dental and disability insurances, pension plans/401(k), vacation, sick
leave, COBRA, FMLA and HIPAA guidelines.
·         Assures compliance with legal requirements & government reporting
regulations.
·         Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs in support
of business strategy
·         Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees & conducts new
employee orientation.
·         Maintains employee records.
·         Coordinates management, Supervisory & Employee training.
·         Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations
issues.
·         Coordinates periodic audits of the human resource and
safety/health functions.
·         Serves as a link between management and employees by handling
questions and helping resolve work-related problems.
·         Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and
programs.
·         Maintains and updates employee handbook, job descriptions &
performance reviews.
·         Administers salary administration program & conducts wage surveys
within labor market.
·         Coordinates safety & health program, including Investigating
accidents and preparing reports.
·         Maintains data on turnover, attendance, job related injuries,
employee benefits cost, revenue, etc.
·         Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and
investigations.
·         Coordinate employee communications via newsletter, web-site, and
employee meetings
·         Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services.
Qualifications:
·         Senior Professional In Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional In
Human Resources (PHR) certifications preferred. Certified Employee Benefits
Specialist (CEBS) a plus.
·         Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of related experience and
training.
·         Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment,
selection, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations and human
resource information systems.
·         Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their
applications.
·         Knowledge and demonstrated skill applying computer programs,
including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, plus additional HR software to
expedite related processes.
·         Experience in high growth company considered a plus
Benefits:

Compensation:
Base annual salary of $55-60,000 (depending on skills and qualifications)
plus potential incentives of up to 10% of salary
