order to cash cycle for their assigned account assignments. The CSAM is the 
primary point of contact for their customers for all supply chain related 
activity.  Essential Functions/Responsibilities (ranked in order of 
importance):  Manage the entire order to cash cycle
Order management activities: order placement, order review, inventory check, 
coordination of emergency trucks, negotiation of order size and shipping date 
to optimize transportation costs, and manage customer order lead time. 
Deduction management activity:  OSD deduction resolution, resolve unidentified 
deductions by leveraging CSAM relationship with Buyer, Invoice management 
activity:  Invoice review, mail invoice, and  provide late invoice payment 
support by leveraging CSAM relationship with Buyer 
Provide EDI maintenance support where appropriate to ensure clean execution of 
orders.
Provide a leadership role to the Deduction Analysts and Collection Coordinator, 
in order to provide direction and support in achieving the financial goals 
established for their specific accounts.  Develop strong relationships with key 
customer contacts through daily interaction with buyers, and by conducting 
customer visits on a regular basis.  Key contacts include procurement, 
warehousing, transportation, and accounts payable.  Pro-actively communicate 
product availability issues to customers.  Notify Supply Chain of product 
availability issues and offer solutions to Supply Chain Planning on possible 
Mixing Center, Co-Packer, and Plant shipping possibilities.  Offer and 
negotiate Supply Chain programs such as customer pickup and Direct Plant 
Shipment to customers.  Develop effective relationships with internal customers 
(Sales, Brokers, Warehouse, Transportation, Sales Operations, Planning, 
Finance, IT, and QA).  Participates in ongoing training programs to maintain 
current!
  with processes, procedures, and enhanced software upgrades (JDE, Compass, and 
Manugistics).  Identify the most cost efficient means to provide product to the 
customer by working in conjunction with Transportation, APS & Sales.  Provide 
purchasing guidelines and processes to customers during transition to ONE Sara 
Lee Foods i.e, consolidation of brand ordering, terms, proper product sourcing. 
 Ensure ongoing adherence to all Order Management Policies, Procedures, and 
Processes so the result will fulfill all audit reviews.  Achieve a Good rating 
on all Order Management CSC audits.  Fiscal & Personal Accountability:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CSAM's are required to travel periodically in order to visit customers to 
resolve issues, introduce new programs, and develop strong relationships with 
our customers.  Additional travel would include participation in Sales 
meetings, as well as visits to our operational locations (Mixing 
Centers/Plants).  Due to their interaction with many functional areas, they are 
well positioned for career development within the organization for various 
positions.  These include positions within Sales & Supply Chain.  Additionally, 
CSAM's have career path opportunities within the customer service organization 
such as Training Manager, Deduction Process Manager, or Region Customer Service 
Manager.
