      Job description: Responsible for the technical planning and execution of 
complex, airborne sensor/processor development projects involving a 
multi-disciplinary group of engineers (hardware, software, mechanical, etc.) 
program managers, and support personnel. Must be capable of understanding 
initial customer requirements and translating those requirements into a 
conceptual systems design and interface description, followed by a detailed 
technical work plan and budget to develop a realizable system. During the 
program/project design phase, will work at the systems level to fully develop 
preliminary and critical designs and transition these designs to hardware, 
software and mechanical engineers at the configuration item, module and 
component levels. Applicant selected will be subject to a security 
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified 
information. 
      Requirements:   
      Requirements: - BS in Electrical Engineering required. MS in Electrical 
Engineering desired. - A background in microwave design, high-speed 
digital/board-level design or digital signal processor design with at least 5+ 
years of direct industry experience working at the systems level on complex 
hardware development projects. - System/configuration item architecture and 
detailed design development, system requirements derivation, allocation and 
flow-down, system interface description and design, trade study generation and 
analysis, computer modeling and simulation, test planning, and integration and 
test management. - Experience planning and executing technical projects, to 
include: generating work break down structures (WBSs) and statements of work 
(SOWs), generating schedules in MS Project, estimating labor and material 
requirements, and creating work packages and assigning tasks to engineers. 
Domain knowledge of airborne/space-based sensor and processor developments for 
ISR (Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance), EW (Electronic Warfare) or 
ESM (Electronic Support Measures) applications is desired but not necessary.
