Currently, we are seeking a Director, Product Marketing to support our
client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Director of Product Marketing will be
responsible for formulating product and business plans for the client's
proprietary offering by applying market research, sales intelligence and
customer feedback to formulate product business revenue and revenue
production. He or she will work hand in hand with technical product
management to determine technical requirements and long term strategies
for the Company's products. This position will build business product
plans to drive revenue for the product and construct a cross-segment
business plan with proper requirements predictions, distribution methods
and revenue generation models.
Principal Responsibilities:
Provide overall global product direction to optimize adoption and
maximize revenue for the product through leveraging market and
competitive intelligence, customer requirements analysis and product
forecasting.
Maintain closeness with the hospital and RHIO customer, as appropriate,
to understand their needs, their buying intentions and processes and
their responses to planned product improvements and development
In support of the Segment Marketing Leads, define segment-specific
differentiated go-to-market strategies encompassing pricing,
distribution strategy and marketing plans.
Assist technical and requirements staff with collection of requirements
information for new product development, through various market
intelligence channels, and participate in the enhancements
prioritization process
Work with Research Manager to provide guidance for ongoing analysis of
competitor products and to guide ongoing analysis of market landscape
including current or potential target markets, size of market, and
identification of key market success factors.
Work with Sales and internal customers (as appropriate), and
professional services to develop training, launch and implementation
plans. Work with Sales Support to develop ongoing product training to
support each release.
Monitor the movement of standards organizations and governmental
initiatives relative to their impact on our clinical information
solutions:
Ensure client interests are represented and influence these initiatives
where possible
Ensure our product is positioned to comply with necessary standards and
accrediting organizations
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client's Sales,
business development, professional services, technical product
development and executive teams as appropriate to support the
development and deployment of the product offering.
Support large sales opportunities by providing necessary
product/industry expertise and perspective and providing RFP support, as
necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience in managing and marketing products through the product
life cycle.
Deep understanding of hospital departments and workflow.
Strong analytical skills including ability to take specific data and
work toward positive, concise plan of action and effectively articulate
that in written and verbal form.
A strong understanding of the competitive and vendor marketplace.
Strong inter-personal skills; the ability to drive large
cross-functional organizations and multiple programs towards a common
objective.
Strong ability to synthesize inputs from various sources and drive
product business management to efficiently and effectively reach the
stated objectives.
Executive-level oral and written communication skills.
A passion for growth and for the customer.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven Business Plan and Product Marketing expertise in healthcare IT
field.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in hospital HIT
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
or equivalent on the job experience. Masters degree in Marketing,
Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
