for the Digital Signals Communications Software Engineer role include: Must be 
a United States Citizen Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or 
electrical engineering Course work or experience indicates strong background in 
Digital Signals Communication processing Demonstrated capability to act as the 
technical lead in a project Meets professional expectations in: C or C++ 
programming; Software design theory and processes; Co-design of hardware and 
software Familiar with VHDL; FPGA; VLSI design; Digital design and test 
automation; Software Component Architecture (SCA); Computer Aided Software 
Engineering (CASE); Unified Modeling Language (UML); Object oriented 
programming languages and systems; Demonstrated capability to quickly 
assimilate and apply new role-related information and skills of varying 
complexity Demonstrated capability in identifying and taking action to solve 
technical and business problems Desirable Qualifications: Experience rather 
than familiarization with VHDL, FPGA, etc. Experience with government or 
defense projects Familiar with SEI / CMM Familiar with software definable
