      Client located southwest of Indianapolis, IN. Responsible for the 
engineering, design, analysis and improvement of product designs using the CAD 
system. Develops product designs of an advanced nature Uses 
Pro-Engineer/Unigraphics CAD at a highly skilled level to develop product 
concepts and designs. Analyzes products with consideration to customer 
requirements and supplier capabilities with regards to cost and timing to 
ensure manufacturabilty, efficiency, and quality. Stays current on innovative 
manufacturing processes to faqiliate optimum product design using DFA and 
design for assembly and manufacturing methodology. Prepare technical reports 
and presentations. Uses computer tools such as FEA to determine design 
integrity. Understanding of automotive standards, requirements, and APQP 
procedures. 
      Requirements:   
      Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Three years mininum experience 
in AutoCAD, Pro- Engineer or Pro/E, and Unigraphics. Must have all three and 
three years minimum in each area. A thorough understanding of general drafting 
practices per ANSI Y14.5M. Strong background in the product engineering of 
plastics and sheet metal stamped parts. In-depth understanding of the toal 
design process. Pro-Engineer required. UG desirable. A strong background in 
both 2D and 3D CAD, plus a willingness to learn new systems.
