Currently Kforce is seeking 5-6 Database Content Coordinators (DCCs) for
our Dayton, Ohio based client for contracting and contract to hire
openings.  The DCCs are responsible for building and maintaining the
parts number databases for all the client's companies (currently over
500 companies and 3.2 million part number records).   The Inventory
Database contains approx 50 fields (attributes) for each item that needs
to be researched, verified, and fulfilled.  In addition, the DCCs will
also be maintaining list price sheets for our client's top vendors.



The successful candidates will have:

 

Product knowledge (plumbing, industrial, HVAC, electrical) a plus 
MS Excel - above average user/knowledge 
Communication skills - written and verbal 
Organized and able to multitask 
Ability to work independently and be able to contribute to the Database
Group

These positions require computer work such as working on spreadsheets,
analyzing data, loading the system and cleaning the database should
duplications be found.  

Projects include: 



Building the product database, creating more of catalog type info, not
just part numbers. 
Streamlining the current Mainframe item numbers, remove duplicates,
clean vendors, clean description, etc 
Company Conversion 
Cost/Price Sheets 
Categories for Vendor Consolidation
