      Our client is a nationally respected, A+ rated property and casualty 
insurance company. They are seeking a field commercial lines underwriter, who 
also has above average marketing skills. This position will be working out of 
the Southern, Ohio, Regional Office, and be responsible for an agency territory 
in Northern, Ohio. Travel would be 30-40%. Middle market underwriting and 
marketing experience is needed. Major responsibilities are agency management, 
new business, profitability and introduction of new products. Candidates will 
have at least 5 years of middle market underwriting experience familiarity with 
Ohio independent agents, strong marketing skills, ability to handle multiple 
priorities and above average communication skills. Excellent compensation 
package including a company car. Relocation assistant may be available.
