Subject: I need your help
Dear Daily E-mail subscriber:
It's time again for the annual event where the Business Courier and its readers
aim to help improve the financial literacy of Cincinnati Public School
children.
On Nov. 10, I hope you'll join me and a team from the Courier for a light
breakfast at 8:30 a.m. here at our downtown Cincinnati office. After that,
we'll go to assigned schools in teams to teach a stock-market-type game to
Cincinnati elementary school students. We'll be done by about 11:30 a.m., when
we'll enjoy Papa John's pizza with the kids. You should be back in your office
by 1 p.m. That night, we'll gather from 5-7 p.m. at the Bankers Club to swap
stories and hear about other opportunities for businesses to collaborate with
local schools. The event costs you nothing but your time. Get a group together
from your company and make this a community service activity that will make
your boss, your shareholders, your clients and your family proud.
The program is called Accounting for Kids Day. But don't be misled by the
title. It's not just for accountants, and we're not teaching accounting.
Launched in 2001, this is a communitywide program, and I need your help to
reach as many classrooms as possible. To register, click here:

colleague in this nonprofit effort, Crystal Faulkner, at (513) 768-6798 or
cfaulkner@xxxxxxxxxxx Visit http://www.accountingforkids.org for more
information.
If you can't make the event, look for a supplement in the Nov. 19 edition of
the Courier. Not a subscriber? Sign up now so you won't miss another issue by

See you Nov. 10 .
