Mission:
To provide technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing IT 
initiatives that create and maintain leadership for the enterprise in a 
constantly changing and intensely competitive marketplace.

Position Purpose: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable for 
directing the information and data integrity of the enterprise and its groups 
and for all Information Service functions of the enterprise, including all data 
centers, hosted services, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), 
computer program development and computer systems operations. He or she is 
responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer ú based systems 
across the enterprise. He or she provides over all management and definition of 
all computer and communication activities within the enterprise including 
responsibility 
for providing a leadership role in the day to day operations of the Information 
Services functions as well as providing direction as the enterprise grows 
through internal growth and external acquisition.
Responsibilities:
* Champion the identification, definition, implementation and support of 
processes and technologies to add value to the enterprise.
* Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives, opportunities 
and financial requirements.
* Identify and develop training for the user community to ensure IT initiatives 
are carried out across the enterprise.
* Provide ongoing leadership and direct management of the Information 
Technology function across the enterprise.
* Ensure that IT infrastructure and systems (e.g. computers, networks, business 
applications) are appropriate, cost-effective and operating as needed.
* Maintain fiscal responsibility (capital planning, expenditures) for the 
Information Technology function.
* Establish and communicate the firm's technology direction and IT Vision.
* Conduct activities to ensure IT is prepared to provide knowledgeable, 
competitive long-term technical solutions.
* Interact with internal and external clients to foster customer satisfaction 
and promote understanding of the management of Information technology.
* Coach, mentor and develop staff members while providing leadership to meet 
strategic and tactical requirements.
* Work closely with the organization to generate value realization from 
investments in technologies.
* Support, engage with, and contribute to overall management team's initiatives 
and success.
Candidate Profile
* Executive presence & ability to interface with all members of the management 
team and the board of directors.
* Demonstrated executive leadership skills in Information Technology and 
operational management.
* Technology thought leader with focus on aligning IT vision with business 
imperatives. An articulate advocate of the IT vision.
* A superior customer orientation, including an understanding of the advantages 
of partnering and alliance building (internal and external to the enterprise).
* Detailed understanding of cost benefit analysis. Fiscally responsible and 
driven to manage in a cost-effective manner.
* Strong business orientation.
* Demonstrated ability to bring the benefits of IT to solve business issues 
while also managing costs and risk.
* Skilled at identifying and evaluating new technological developments and 
gauging their appropriateness for the business.
* Ability to be strategic as well as pragmatic.
* Ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and 
within budget.
* Superb leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to 
function in a collaborative way and build trust.* Clear capability to make 
decisions.
* Effective consultative and influence skills.
* Possess the highest personal and professional standards.
Experience:
* Minimum 15 years of experience.
* Track record of successful IT leadership.
* Experience in management of all IT functional disciplines. Understands a wide 
range of technologies.
* ERP implementation and/or support experience (Oracle ERP is essential).
* Strong business orientation with broad experience in the industrial 
(assembly) manufacturing industry.
* Proven track record of success in environments of rapid change and growth.
* Undergraduate degree required, a master's degree will be a plus.
