Chief Clinical Officer



Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Heath Services (formerly CRI and QC/M) is a
private, non-profit organization in Cincinnati, Ohio providing a variety of
specialized services to over 3,000 persons with severe mental illness.  Our
mission is to assist persons with mental illness and related barriers to
lead productive and fulfilling lives.  The Chief Clinical Officer is a
member of the Senior Leadership Team and serves as the senior clinical
officer for the organization.



Essential Responsibilities:

  a.. Develops policies, procedures and standards for clinical/service
delivery consistent with internal and external standards and requirements.
  b.. Develops and monitors intake, assessment, individual treatment
planning processes, etc.
  c.. Develops and manages utilization management activities, level of care
system and service delivery.
  d.. Develops and manages clinical risk management processes.
  e.. Engages in strategic planning and new program development.
  f.. Directs recruitment, orientation and training for all assigned staff.
  g.. Collaborates with the Medical Director, Leadership Team Members, and
Quality Improvement Staff.
  h.. Liaison with funding sources.
  i.. Participates in community planning and public relations activities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:

  a.. 10 years experience in a clinical supervisory/management position.
  b.. Fully credentialed mental health professional - independently licensed
(LISW, LPCC, etc.) by the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board and as
defined by the ODMH provider service rules.
  c.. Demonstrated success in managing clinical programs.
  d.. Familiar with recovery based philosophy.
  e.. Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
Desired Qualifications:

  a.. Strong clinical records/service documentation knowledge.
  b.. National accreditation experience.
  c.. Excellent teaching skills.
