  Chemical Engineer --Cincinnati, OH 

  As the Chemical Engineer, you are responsible for the identification and 
selection of materials / formulas for use in a wide array of applications 
including injection molding, organic material extrusion, metal stamping and 
glass molding. More specific requirements of the position include:

  ·         Employ Scientific and Statistical Methods for the planning, testing 
and analysis of materials and processes 

  ·         Generate clear and concise reports with specific recommendations 

  ·         Organize and lead all experimentation in both laboratory and 
production settings 

  ·         Organize and store technical data in a searchable database 

  ·         Create and implement standard operating procedures for the lab and 
production environments 

  ·         The individual must be able to develop optimally designed 
experiments and develop empirical or fundamental models which predict the 
effect of product formulation and process variables on product performance, 
product stability, and consumer response. 

  ·         The individual must be able to develop simulations which can be 
used to optimize product design.

   

  BS in Chemical Engineering is required, with a specialization in general 
purpose mathematical modeling preferred.  Manufacturing experience and a 
history of achieving results in a team-oriented environment is essential.  You 
must have the ability to work independently with a focus on priorities and 
proven capabilities with statistical modeling software.   Six Sigma Black Belt 
certification is required as well as being an expert in the use of Six Sigma 
tools and Statistical Modeling Software (Jump, Design Expert, MiniTab or 
similar).

  Position Details:

  Location: Cincinnati, OH 

  Travel Requirements: Minimal

  Salary: Target base salary is $65K - $75K.
