Fellow JSFG members,
Those of you using the listserve may be aware that using the reply feature on
the listserve email has not behaved like you would normally expect. Instead of
the reply going back to just the person sending the email, the reply would go
to the entire group. For example, if someone asks for a contact name at company
XYZ, the response should probably ONLY go to the original sender, not the
entire group. However, choosing reply would send the reply to everyone on the
listserve.
To make the listserve more "intuitive", we have changed the behavior of the
listserve. Effective immediately, if you choose "reply" for a listserve
message, the response should go ONLY to the person sending the message, not the
entire group. Hopefully, this will reduce the number of message going to places
other than intended.
I hope that this change meets the needs of the group and makes the listserve
more useful. If you have any questions about the change, please contact me. (By
choosing "reply" to this message if you like :) )
