      Description:   
      As the Linux/Grid Services Business Developer you must be able to market, 
present & close services business. With this position you may live anywhere but 
it will require 40-60% travel. You must have current ITS/BCS offering knowledge 
& contacts. Candidate will provide leadership & direction for the development 
of IGS services business in the Americas Linux & Grid marketplace. Will drive 
marketing/selling of Linux & Grid infrastructure & application solutions & will 
work through others to drive significant cross IGS revenue from Linux & Grid 
offerings. Position will work w/other IGS lines of business to foster an 
end-to-end service delivery model for Linux & Grid market. Position will work 
closely w/ both Industry & Competency Principals & S&D teams to ensure 
significant Linux & Grid services revenue are generated from new/existing 
accounts, primarily in US. Working w/ client teams & regional principals to 
market/sell Linux & Grid infrastructure & application solutions will be 
required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.  
      Requirements:   
      Should have good knowledge of Linux, Grid, open source concepts & 
infrastructure/application architecture. The qualified candidate will have a 
degree in Business, Engineering or Related Area and experience with 
Grid/Linux/Open Source Concepts/Solutions, Grid infrastructure/application 
knowledge, Broad Knowledge-Industry/Competency Solutions, Design Complex 
Business Solutions, Technical Skills/Experience, Knowledge of IBM HW/SW 
Components, Selling Skills, Written/Verbal Communications, Ability to work 
seamlessly-IBM units, and Development of Professional Services.
