      Key position with major manufacturing company IT Department. This is a 
lead position responsible for coordinating the application of technology by the 
IT Department for end-user (customer). There is a need for direct experience 
with the technology as well as project management, business/technological 
expertise and information to the IT Department and other business within the 
company. The Business Analyst analyzes business issues and identifies projects 
and technologies that will produce significant operational results and add 
value to the corporation. As a subject matter expert the Analyst formulates and 
defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a solid 
understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. In 
addition the B/A may function as a project manager to coordinate and facilitate 
the work of cross-functional Company resources assigned to IT projects of a 
highly complex nature the success of which will be measured in part by outcomes 
which meet and exceed business goals and objectives while significantly 
reducing administrative expenses. Provide guidance in creating standards, 
testing procedures, version control etc. Maintain a professional awareness of 
tools and techniques that might be used to improve the quality of service. 
Organizational Purpose As a staff member within the IT Department, this 
position is responsible for coordinating the application of technology from an 
IT and end-user perspective, providing project management 
business/technological expertise, and information to IT Leadership and other 
business leaders within the Company.  
      Requirements:   
      Experience BA or BS in Computer Science, Information System, Business, or 
Engineering; advanced degree desirable. Five to eight years of information 
technology/project management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced business 
environment. Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and 
participate in problem solving process. Must be self-motivated with strong 
initiative to learn. Strong analytical skins and the ability to lead projects, 
gather data, and organize ideas are required. Effective communication, 
negotiation, and skills as a liaison also required. Excellent written and oral 
communication skills are required. Effective presentations skins with a 
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Equivalent work 
experience may substitute for requirements
