Dear JSFGers;
Hyde Park Community UMC is holding a blood drive to benefit "Bella and
Children's Hospital Medical Center".

"The drive will be on Friday September 26 from 1:00 pm till 7:00 pm in the
Welcome Center of the HPCUMC.

Some of you may know that Bella, the 2 year old daughter of our former
preschool director, has been hospitalized since December 2007 with a fierce
form of leukemia known as AML.  After months of radiation and chemotherapy,
on August 25, Bella underwent a bone marrow transfusion.  PLEASE give the
gift of life, and keep praying for all these children!  Donors must be in
generally good health, be over 17 years of age, and weigh more than 110
lbs.
