I have observed Bill Matthews for several years, mostly in the listserv, bu=
t some in person.  Bill has many strong attributes that could really be adv=
antageous to many organizations.
Bill Matthews is HARD-WORKING - he has worked many years at Krogers in the =
evening while doing his professional job search.  That is DEDICATION!
I beleve Bill is an HONEST person, who just made a human error in either, 1=
.) not explaining that his Excel question would have been in accordance to =
what the employer expected, or, 2.) his momentum in using the listserv led =
him into asking his question, and he forgot how it might look to some peopl=
e.
Bill is very RESPONSIBLE, being a provider, being LOYAL to Kroger for sever=
al years, and keeping the faith with his job search.
He is evidently HEALTHY and PHYSICALLY FIT.
Bill is TENACIOUS, and Bill is PERSISTANT, as seen by his involvement in Jo=
b Search Focus Group, including the listserv.
Bill is not afraid to ask for help, which is a very valuable trait at work =
- he has COURAGE.
He is GOOD WITH PEOPLE, as seen with JSFG and his contribution at Krogers.
Bill is NOT A QUITTER - he will stick with it, when in a professional, matu=
re work environment, having the right culture for him.
Bill is RESILIENT, as witnessed by his self-control over the tactless criti=
cism some have given him in listserv, i.e. he has not reacted negatively.
He is FORGIVING, as exemplfied by his withstanding the tactless criticism o=
f some people.
And, no doubt Bill is plenty INTELLIGENT.
I have to go back to work now, but I am certain I have not enumerated even =
half of Bill's qualities that any company, which does not practise age disc=
rimination, would be smart to hire Bill for without delay.

I have admired him for a long time, as I have observed him through Job Sear=
ch Focus Group.
