Location:  Can be based anywhere, preferably near an Avery office but
this can be a remote working situation

This position is that of an individual contributor who reports to Global
Operations. Provides ELS linkage and knowledge transfer between the
Corporate directive and the business. Acts as a change agent and subject
matter expert to or within area(s) assigned to drive and support ELS
continuous improvement efforts. Supports the sourcing of ELS talent and
external benchmarking. This role is also accountable for the
development, deployment, and coordination of ELS improvement efforts
globally.
 
This role will have extreme exposure at all levels from shop floor to GM
and will provide strategic direction to Global VPs.  Teaching, training
and relationship building  are of utmost importance and being able to
translate workflow to process and in doing so, identify lean
opportunities and communicate quickly and clearly to all those concerned
is required.
 
ELS Sensei II Responsibilities
. Drive the deployment of ELS Systems, processes, and tools across the
Supply Chain for maximum effectiveness.
. Lead (sales, marketing, G&A) deployment of ELS systems, processes and
tools, to ensure maximum effectiveness.
. Key resource to a business unit to ensure actions on the various
continuous improvement initiatives.
. Business/functional leader responsible for driving Enterprise Lean
Sigma throughout the business/function with sustainable results.
. Build relationships with business leaders to understand business
objectives and priorities, and to collaboratively develop supporting
process improvement initiatives.
. Act as a catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices
across all businesses.
. Provides direction to business unit for internal and external Best
Practices.
Drive and align ELS strategy deployment throughout the supply chain with
an enterprise-wide focus.
 
Minimum Requirements: 
BS or BA degree-in related field
(5-10)+ years business experience, with hands-on experience as an
internal consultant, emphasizing curriculum development.
. Excellent overall business acumen and organizational savvy.
. Seasoned ELS Champion and Subject Matter Expert.
. Proven ability to develop influential relationships a multiple levels
within an organization.
. Demonstrated success in bringing about changes in an organization via
consensus building and influencing all levels of an organization. 
. Excellent project management skills, including execution and follow up
assessment improvement balanced with business priorities.
. Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft
Office, Lotus Notes, Visio and function specific software.
