      This position is listed in Indianapolis, IN but is actually located 
Southwest of Indianapolis. Please note this geographic location to be sure this 
would be an area of interest to you. Ensures the quality system meets 
automotive customer and company requirements, develops complex quality 
programs, and/or systems that ensure problem identification and resolution and 
drives continuous improvement. Reports to Manager of Quality Engineering. This 
individual supervises process and/or product auditors. This position is not 
looking for a quality auditor. This individual will be on the floor looking at 
ways to improve the quality of this automotive client's products.  
      Requirements:   
      Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as mechanical, electrical, 
or industrial engineering. Seven years experience in an electromechanical 
manufacturing automotive industry area working with an automotive supplier in 
an engineering capacity. Must have strength in statistical process control 
(SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) and their application to high 
volume automotive manufacturing as a problem identification and resolution 
tool. Active participation in the successful completion of an automotive OEM 
Quality System and ISO 9000 Survey.
