The Cincinnati Art Museum has an opening for the position of full-time
Assistant Director of Communications within the Creative Services and
External Relations Division;

Responsibilities:  Working under the direction of the Director of =
Creative
Services and External Relations, the Assistant Director of =
Communications
oversees the Art Museum=92s public relations and internal =
communications.  In
this capacity, this position is responsible for planning and =
implementing
all such strategies under the guidance of the Director of Creative =
Services
and External Relations while working closely with staff members of the
Division and coordinating with other internal Art Museum divisions. As =
the
Assistant Director in charge of public relations, responsibilities =
include
serving as an account supervisor for the creation and implementation of
integrated marketing communications plans for the curatorial, education =
and
administrative divisions. =20

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

=20

*       Works collaboratively with the Director of Creative Services and
External Relations and other staff members of the Division.  Serves on =
the
Division=92s management team with the other Assistant Directors.  Works
collaboratively with outside consultants and vendors, at times managing
their work and contracts.

=20

*       Serves as the primary conduit for sharing information about the =
Art
Museum with local, regional and national media (print, broadcast and
electronic) and is responsible for making sure that these messages are =
in
sync=96at all times.=20

=20

*       Responsible for attaining measurable publicity goals for the Art
Museum on specific projects. =20

=20

*       Serves as the primary spokesperson for the Art Museum for print
interviews and broadcast appearances.

=20

*       Serves as an account supervisor for the planning and =
implementation
of integrated marketing communications plans for various divisions.  In =
this
capacity, meets regularly with these divisions to identify goals and
objectives, and develop strategic marketing plans to accomplish them.

*       Oversees the Art Museum=92s internal communications which will =
include
the co-management of the Museum=92s monthly staff meetings, and =
thereafter
interpretation and dissemination of internal news and policy among =
internal
publications, memoranda, as well as the editing and managing of content =
for
the Art Museum=92s intranet, and CAMEO system.

*       Supervises and coordinates the work of the Public Relations =
Interns.

=20

*       Serves as a staff representative on various Art Museum =
committees.

=20

Requirements:  B.A. in marketing, communications, journalism or related
field.   At least three years of public relations experience with an
emphasis on publicity and media relations.  Agency experience preferred =
but
not required.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well =
as
experience in branding and outreach to diverse audiences.

dedicated to showing contemporary art, the Contemporary Arts Center =

the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art seeks =
applicants
for the position of Facility Rentals Manager. The Facility Rentals =
Manager
is charged with the marketing, scheduling and coordination of all paid
facility rentals for the Contemporary Arts Center.  The Facility Rentals
Manager works closely with fellow staff members in the Marketing =
Department
and Facility Department to implement all promotional initiatives =
necessary
to achieve the Board designated income goals and to successfully fulfill =
all
arrangements needed for the CAC=92s booked events and rentals.  This is =
a
full-time salaried position.  Flexibility of schedule is required in =
that
many rentals occur in evenings and over the weekend. =20

Direct experience in events management, sales, marketing, or related =
field;
a comfort level and ability to learn about technical and a/v =
requirements;
good spatial sense; solid written/oral communication skills and

arts. Must be detail-oriented, a proven problem solver and multi-tasker =
